GPS-an honest answer...?
He's a total retard Mooron.
It's BB...remember the guy making death wishes. He wore out his welcome as BB, tried Rusty Red Cloud for a while. I think by using my name, and boat name, and professional title he is deluded into thinking someone might respect his nautical knowledge.. He would do alot better if he just used my stuff...then STFU. Joe |

Bob thinks they run on batteries, just like his router bits. Didn't Bob have the last one replaced when the light wouldn't turn on!!?? Well at least he doesn't drink like Binary Bill and stumble around his cockpit failing with a winch handle and smashing his compass all the time. CM |

Seems like he's gotten under your skin like a chigger..... may I suggest
"The Art of War" as your next read? Binary Bill has become small, petty and malicious. He is his own worst enemy. CM "Joe" wrote in message ups.com... He's a total retard Mooron. Binary Bill has become small, petty and malicious. He is his own worst
enemy. You're as paranoid as you are pavlovian. Bill no longer posts here in any capacity. He has left the building. RB |

"Captain Joe Redcloud" wrote in message I don't have to deal with it, because I own a GPS that has an integrated fluxgate compass. It also has integrated charts, and an integrated altimeter. Fine... I have a radar with integrated GPS and Fluxgate Compass. It was you who said it was a GPS... not an integrated navigational system. Can you spot the difference here Bill .... or am I going too fast for you? They all work together as one. If I ask you to hand me my GPS, you have to hand me the compass, altimeter and charts with it. As the Buddists would say, they are ONE. You quoting Buddhist Philosiphy??? Bwahahahahahaha. Bill... please leave the serious navigational discussion to people who have more experience than a daysailor on a small boat in a harbour touting latest gizmo. CM |

Are you claiming puppet master status here? Has the person who now posts as "*/*Redcloud" not stated exactly the same vessel, location and claims of one Binary Bill? I've been gone for a long time but this was discussed a while ago before I got booted from my ISP by Ganz. I based my assessment on the evidence presented. I haven't seen anything from this poster to alter that conclusion. Petty, Small and Malicious..... did I miss Vindictive? If you have any information to submit which would alter my viewpoint... please fell free to produce it. No need to get offensive about it. CM |

Then it's a Fluxgate Compass on a GPS Receiver... Yep. ... GPS cannot give you compass directions without movement. Deal with it. Yes, it can. Deal with it. http://www.mx-marine.com/downloads/m...nual_rev12.pdf Scroll down to page 10, where it explains that this unit is two GPS receivers in a fixed mount (it also has a gyro "in case of GPS signal blockage). There is a similar suitcase-sized instrument for surveyors, but I can't find a link to one. DSK |
