Default THE UGLY BOAT!!

The Boob said: Its a good looking boat from the hull down, A bit
boxey looking above decks IMO..

You see all this time what he really wanted was an Express.

Neal,

A real "Salt" would say; "By the Bow" Any sailor would know the Bow
consist of the point where the Port and Starboard sides come together;
At The Front of the vessel, ONE BOW per vessel on a monohull, be it
Scow, Spoon. Clipper, Etc.

By the Bow, Meaning lower than its design lines.

I, too, am not fond of the " Windows" but I don't believe there will be
any delamination problem as with Core Construction,

Nutsy? Why lie with pictures? Every one Knows it's not New. You get
caught more often than note. You like the Boat you got;------ then screw
the ASA Discussion Group. Don't show you insecurity! I'm happy for
you!!!

Remember, when you put Thomas to sleep; make love on the "Centerline"
that off-set Quarter Cabin will "ROCK THE BOAT!" Let the Kid get his
sleep. :^)

Thanks, Thom. She's a slick boat. No lies with pictures. The boat is
listed on Yachtworld, along with the one in NJ that didn't pass my
survey. The exterior picture I posted is taken with my Nikon D70 and
isn't on any website, so Stevie made an ass of himself again.
The owner is 73 years old and has won an amazing amount of silver. He's
still racing his Tartan 10, which he finds easier because she has flush
decks. This was his second 35s5.
The beauty of this particular boat is that she was never raced until
the last 11 months. She's really well loaded and the mylar sails and
air conditioning are a nice bonus. The boat looks barely used as you'll
see when I post more pics. We also got her for a really sweet price.
The rotten part is that she's in Florida and it's a drag getting her
decommissioned. I'm trying to reduce my trips there, though I'll have
to fly back November 19th for family business. Anyway...very happy..we
found our boat!

11 months ago? How do you explain the fact that
it lost to a Hunter 28 and two J30's in 2001?

There's racing and then there's RACING. The boat was never seriously
campaigned. Her current owner races a Tartan 10 against other Tartan
10's. Real racing, with new sails bought often, latest gear added and a
boat driven hard. Do you know the difference? There isn't a even ONE
gelcoat crack anywhere. Every aspect of her rig looks just about new.
It's really bugging you that I once again have a nicer boat...only this
time it's MUCH nicer! Her condition is something to behold as the pics
will show. And she has a real interior rather than the el-crapo Depress
30 interior.
So you came all the way back to ASA to show off your green dragon? Nice
job!!

When the Boob starts his Wednesday night fun you'll be able to add a
Flicka 20 to the list.

Ahhh, ANY well sailed boat can win a PHRF race. Cape Dory Typhoon can
win against a J35 in adjusted time. But when they're both sailed to
Port Jeff....The J35 will still get their 1st!
