Yes, but....

"He and his cardiologist have decided that it's not a good idea, especially
after 3 recent heart attacks."

from a previous response.

We thank the gods every day that you don't live here. We have enough people
already!

Not taking advantage of him... he's probably going to be taking advantage

of
me. It's an older Pearson 30 that he set up very nicely for single

handing.
He's very, very slowly doing some minor work on it. He really shouldn't
be
out by himself any more... getting old, has a bad heart, etc.

Why shouldn't he go out on his own any more?

Should "old people" be kept on a leash? Should he be confined to his home
in case he smells of "wee"?

Maybe you think that he is too old to decide if it is safe to sail????

Or perhaps you think that old people should only be allowed to sail after
a
younger person has carried out a risk assessment!!!!

Thank God that I don't live in California!

Regards

People who like Westerley, will also look at Moody or
Bowman. People who like MacGregors will like Firsts and
Bendytoes. You shouldn't need to try very many boats.

Oh brother!

I don't really like it much.

However, I only need a liferaft two or three times a year. It's cheaper to
rent, because the liferafts need to be serviced every three years. The
service is expensive.

No, that wasn't me!
