What the hell are you even talking about. The 505 carries a bolt footed main. There is no Shelve. The center curve of the sail can be reduced by using a Vang to curve the Boom and pull the center section of the sail flatter. A free footed main does not responded in the center of the boom bending properly. A increase in bending a boom on a free footed main will bag the main. By the way Muffy, did you see the crew on a trapeze fighting heeling? A very ignorant example for this discussion |
