I have a figurehead *inside* my vessel up in the forepeak.
It's a picture - not a carving - and it's varnished onto the
locker door in the recess.

Katy?

Bwahahahahahahah you know it! She went to florida this summer..right?

Ms Terry may be better looking than that wooden dummy, but I bet it can go
head to head with Ms Terry when it comes to literacy.

You had MsTerry stuffed? I didn't know she passed on.

Oh come on now Scotty, MsTerry's blue eyes and red hair and awesome
body put hers to shame. The carver only wished he could get Terry to
model for him.

Looks good, Joe!

The picture is of the posterior (as opposed to anterior)
side of a shapely thong-clad woman. She's looking forward.
I thought of putting a figurehead on the prow but it would
look rather stupid on a modern sloop with no bowsprit.

It's a picture - not a carving - and it's varnished onto the
locker door in the recess. All sailing vessels need some sort
of a figurehead for good luck.

So, she is looking towards the stern, backwards into the cabin. Not a good
omen, and certainly does not rate as a figurehead.
