Let's face some facts. If Canada wasn't part of the commonwealth, you
would
have become part of the USA long ago. The only country (outside the
commonwealth) that would object to your assimilation is France. Upsetting
France would be a votewinner in the US and most of Canada. No other
country
would give a toss. So, show a little respect - or you might lose the
protection of the crown!!
