You've hit the nail on the head there Katy! He hasn't become a citizen,
doesn't vote, but is happy to avail himself of the dole, (a true Canadian
trait I'll grant you, but not enough to make him Canadian yet).

Ain't that EI frickin' GREAT! I can fill out the forms online and they
deposit the cash to my bank account. Canada... what a wonderful country!

BTW: the only real reason I've refused to complete the citizenship
application is they want me to swear loyalty to the Queen of England. The
heck wit dat..... they don't even offer a free toaster for joining! I
told'em I'd swear allegiance to Canada.... but not the queen. The citizens
born here never swore allegiance to the queen. Did you swear allegiance to
the Queen Marty??? H-m-m-m?!
