I love ginger beer but you only find it under deli labels here...grew up on
Vernor's ginger ale, but that was back when they used to put real ginger in
it...now it's synthetic (as if there's a shortage of ginger in the world...)
When I lived in St Louis, I would have to import Vernor's from
Michigan...got 2 cases of it once for my birthday...still drink it but it's
just not the same as it used to be...

You know..it's not nearly as fizzy as it used to be. My grandmother would
mix Vernor's with milk for stomach aches...it worked really well...better
than milk of mag or Pepto-Dismal...
