Actually both are right. Duct tape is certainly used to tape ducts, but

That's cool...he reminds me of my Uncle Bill in a simpler way....my Uncle
Bill was the Provincial Etymologist for Ontario for years....his dad was a provincial surveyor and knew Farley Mowat. Uncle Bill ended up dying of pancreatic cancer.
