"built in" camera flash!!

It's part of what causes red eye. Except for you, who can avoid it with
such
cameras.

Of course he can, he's a professional!

You might want to check out Bob's link in this thread.... you'll look
sillier than usual... as usual!

This ad hominem proves you've lost.

Why is this so difficult for you to understand? Let me explain it to you
even more simply. The light from the built in camera flash bounces off
the retina back to the camera lens when a person looks at the camera.
Happens every time - it's physics. If the person is not looking at the
camera or if their pupil is constricted then the effect gets smaller but
any light coming off the retina back into the camera is 'red eye'.

Cheers

Being called silly is not an ad hominum... no more than a 'Bwhahahaha'
substainsiates an argument.

Boy... see I knew you had a clue as to what causes red-eye.... now what
measures would you take to negate this effect? Matter of fact how many
degrees of angle are required to remove the possibility of red-eye? Would a
deflector [ piece of white cardboard taped to deflect the 'built-in' flash]
have any effect? How would you compensate for this?

Professionals... Pah! I forgot more than either you or Bob ever knew about
photography!!.

You can't always take measures! Red eye happens, especially with fast candid
shooting with groups of people. You can't avoid it 100% unless you can control
where EVERYONE is looking!
Mooron, you really swallowed the whole shoe store!

Now you want to tell me red-eye is going to show on a group of people with a
flash... taking a shot of the group... and you get red-eye... Oh Okay...
look I'd like to continue this... get some experience and get back to me...
I've got a blunt to smoke.

Nav, I truly doubt Mooron has ANY camera gear or knows anything about lenses.
He's just bored.

I think you may be right. But he is very proud of his Rambo knife so I
think he has at least one of those

Here's a handy Hint.... Try controling when and where you are shooting
Bob.....

Mooron, you really swallowed the whole shoe store!

You're dreamin' again.... like claiming you had the best camera gear around
and yet can't take a decent photo with it.
