forsake them for a career....careers are for after you've got the klids in
school...sometimes you have to make choices in life that are not selfishly
motivated. Putting off your own education and career is one of those
unselfish things. Kate Hepburn, that terribly liberated woman, never had
children because she had a career. She said many times over that people can
have one or the other but not both at the same time...one will suffer and it
is almost invariably the children and not the career....go blow your horn
somewhere else Bobspit....you know nothing yet...the fruits of your
decisions won't be seen for another 21 years yet....then we can all stand in
judgment and say "We told you so..."

housewife. After two years of nursing she'll probably become a nurse
practitioner and open her own practice. Some women have careers.

What a sad little woman with a sad little view. Suzanne will work three days a
week and I will always be home. Thomas will have both of us...not just one.
Far better and Suzanne gets her career as well.

Katy has to be the most shallow woman ever with such a view. But it's not
really surprising. Meanwhile, Thomas will be with his parents far more than
your kids were. He'll also grow up doing things your children never had a
chance to. Privelige has a price.
By the way, all of my cousins are doctors and all came from broken homes. They
are at the top of their fields. How did your kids manage?
