Default Anyone ever use a Astro-Compass

How bout it Mooron? I hear they are handy way up north.

I picked one up at a local estate sell and I'm trying to find info on useing it.

Anyone have any experience using an astro compass?
I think the one I have may have been used in outer space.

No Joe... I have never used an "astro-compass"...... so to speak
My experience is limited to Theodolites, Total Positioning Systems, Fluxgate
and Magnetic Compasses... directly utilized for source location, survey and
routing in areas above the 65th Lat.

The astro compass is basically a Theodolite Joe. If you are up on your
celestial Navigation it could be useful to you. I have never seen one in use
so I cannot comment on their accuracy. I have my own Theodolite.... it's
about a 6K unit.

Captain Neal did not have a car, and rode everywhere on his bicycle.

BUSTED!

Everyone can tell it's not him. Pretty obvious from the language usage.
