5 gallons

How large do you think your water heater
should be?

I have a 5 gallon but I think I must double the effort.

Why? These "instant" heaters are much more energy efficient.

Ours if 5 gallons but since we mainly use it to do the dishes and very
rarely use it for showers, that's all we need. If you're not actively
cruising where there aren't showers, why bother? Doesn't your marina have
showers?

Joe,

If I sailed where you do, I'd take advantage of the Sun with a Solar
Heater for showers.

The 5 Gal is small but it takes up enough space onboard. Nice to have
but think twice about enlarging.

I've looked at them but I hear they take lots of power to work.
