This wasn't a bad year for ticks, here. Shouldn't the wet summer we
had bring more ticks?

Can we shoot Canadian geese? Man they're a nuisance, and millions of

NO!.... they're a gift from your good neighbours to the north. Think of it
as free fertilizer! Think of it anyway you want.... just remember that we
have a thousand times as many Mosquitos and Blackflys we could send down
your way!

Now about them COWS!??
when are you gonna give it up and start buyin' our cows agin?
We're gettin' Mad as heck... even or Cows are getting PO'd!

Why waste a shell? Just walk up to 'em and grab 'em by the neck.

Yes, they are a big PITA. And they don't taste all that good, either. I
keep reading about goose feasts on holidays of the past, and I wonder if
people were hungrier back then.

My buds that go fish Canada every year always complain about the
flies.

BTW, I burned some Canajun lumber this week. So there.

Depends on how many people and how long away from fresh water supply (or if
you have a good watermaker.) The last time I was able to do some serious
long distance sailing I allowed one gallon per day for everything. Usually
used less except down near the equator. But I think if just hob nobbing
along the coast sort of visiting the neighbors...I would want more
amenities. Luckily the new boat came with both types of water heaters but
the main one is 3 gal. When doing serious sailing you really don't have
time to be a dilletante about it just basic keeping clean.

Anyway that's just my take on it and it served me well in the past.

Joe,

If I sailed where you do, I'd take advantage of the Sun with a Solar
Heater for showers.

We do have a solar shower(black Bag for deck) we do use some, however
when it works best you really want a cold shower that time off year.

The 5 Gal is small but it takes up enough space onboard. Nice to have
but think twice about enlarging.

Yelp I do not have the height needed for a 10 gallon and would have to
put two 5 gallon tanks side by side, either that or reduce the size of
the sail locker.
