Bwahahahaha - not at you, but with you 'cuz that's about how we won
independence from Briton. Strapped for troops and cash, King George sent

proved to the Hessians that fighting gould get dangerous, then offered

them
the same land for NOT fighting - an offer few could refuse. The rest is
history.

Your version of "history" is always good for a laugh. When did the U.S.
ever offer any land to any foreign troops?

OTOH land and houses of Loyalists were granted to various well-connected
people in the Revolution... but not Hessians AFAIK.

I suppose not if only because they were no longer "hessians" when they
became deserters. Ever wonder where all those "Pennsylvania Dutch" and
"Germantowns" came from. They thought they were getting free land. Indians
had other ideas and they ended up having to fight for it anyway.

Is it any wonder that "Scotty Potti" thinks water conservation is stupid?

Of course John..... though constantly intoxicated..... even I now

imposed by common sense or logic.

You make a formidable case for investment in more alcohol...

Sort of, but I've been away a lot (still more to come too) almost
as far as one can get from the sea or indeed any body of sailable
water on this continent. I'm looking in when I can, even though
there's been a lot of fog lately. Now that it's turned to
post-election steam, perhaps it'll clear? (Unless Bobsprit

No we don't. Many a war was fought and more than a few were killed over
"Water Rigths"

NYC drinks Delaware river Water Shed water. No where even near your
Prinstine :^) City limits.

The resident of NYC actually filed suit against the City for lying about
the quality of the air they were breathing

We know about your Garbage. Your City creates more than it can get rid
of

Ecology 101,

The supply is the same but after it is dispersed it becomes different.
Katy sail on Lake water (Fresh) You sail on LIS (Salt)
Same supply different water. Should have paid more attention. We deal
with the same amount of water that we had at the time of our creation.
Urine comes from the same supply but it changes in our body

Nutsy,

You're lying again. You resident in NYC, NEW YORK CITY. You suffer from
the traffic pollution from Grand Central Parkway, Northern Blvd., La
Guardia Airport, East River and all the same polluting force as the City
of New York. You suffer the Brown Outs because you are a NYC resident.

Might be true. Poor people don't put much of a load on resources and
eating out of garbage cans would count as recycling waste. Ditto
dumpster diving around marinas for junk to sell on Ebay.

Wrong again, Thom. The earth is slowly losing it's H2o supply into space. The
US water supply is generally excellent across the board with only tiny
differences based on how it's treated in large cities. The Queens water supply
was judged among the best a few years back. My father's home in the Pocono's
has well water and it's no cleaner than the NY water.

Bwahahahaha! My dad hated VWs. He had a "hassoc" ****ter in his camper -
the kind you put a plastic bag in. He'd keep the full bags in the cab of his
truck to throw at oncoming VWs with NY tags. Made a good number of hits.
