yes on both counts....

Yes on one, no on the other.

I believe Mr. Milstead IS Captain Neal, McDarmaid, and a host of others.
He
is eminently creative, after all.

Hell, he's probably even Maxprop. :-)

I'd suggest that if you dropped him in the far North with no weapon Mr
Testosterone here would be ****ing himself with fear in a day. In his
closeted safe enviroment (with no real predators) he has no idea what the
worst of Oz is like. He probably wouldn't recognise half the predators.

Hate to tell you this, Nav, but there *are* no land-based predators
big enough to tackle a human. None.

Wot, you killed all the nasty bitey stingy critters? There are lots of
predators...

Cheers

Sigh. That's so idiotic I'm not even going to bother. When you get back
on your Ritalin and have your ADHD under control, re-read the simple
sentence I wrote and see if you understand it this time round.

Yep, I know what a predator is. I know what land based is. I know that
tackling a human in this conetx means interacting with one and not
running away. I would say that many snakes etc. would therefore meet
your crtieria. Perhaps you need to formulate your ideas more clearly?

Nope. You need to work on connecting up the individual bits of
information within the context of the thread. Perhaps someone else will
help you out.

The thread had developed into whether the outback is dangerous... I
guess you must have ADHD?
