No particular reason other than it was convenient to include the endorsement
while testing for the others (air brakes, passenger). I have driven oil tankers in the past though (pre-CDL), and who can say what the future will bring? I didn't bother with the hazmat either, since it has such a short shelf life. If the day ever comes that I need it, I'll go take the test. Scout "Scott Vernon" wrote in message ... Why do you have it? Didn't you have to pay extra for it. BTW, I haul hazardous stuff all the time without the endorsement. Works for me. Scotty "Scout" wrote in message ... "Joe" wrote Whats the specific gravity for diesel? It's lighter than water. I'm too busy (lazy) to look up the actual number. Scotty...Do you have some sort of Tankermans endorsement in the trucking industry? There is a tanker endorsment, at least there is in Pennsylvania. I've got it, I'll bet Scotty does too. Scout |
