Thom, did you see the graph Pony posted? It backs up my statement
98%.

Except for the part where Scotty claimed 25 knots SUSTAINED,

LIAR

then admitted he
lied a "wee bit."

$1,000 says I didn't.

By his OWN ADMISSION, winds were 18 knots or 25% less!!!

More lies.

Here's Scotty Potti's POST...from the idiot's own keyboard, folks!

and.....I had a great time. Sunday was blowing like 25 sustained, all
day. Came out of the anchorage with 1/2 the genny out, main still
tied down, got up to 6kts instantly. left the sails like this the
whole day, never got below 5 kts. Nice, wet, fun ride. ;))))))))

Scotty, the liar, exposed AGAIN.

A piece of weather advice that's always proven true is "All weather is local."
Regardless of what the weather is at one place, a few miles away the wind can be
stronger or weaker. What one person gets as a gust, may hold for a longer
period just around the corner. Many is the time I've had strong winds, 25+
outside the harbor, while those inside said it was flat.

In Scotty's case, estimating 25 when it was 18 to 22 with gusts to 25 isn't too
bad. Especially when you consider there could have been a current of 2 to 3
knots that could effectively increase the apparent wind.

A reduction of a litle over 25% Now tell us of what the hell value that
figure is to a sailor?

Thom, Scotty lied, then claimed he only lied "a wee bit." 25% is NOT a wee

bit.
He's busted and you really should stop defending him. It's embarassing!

Oh, so now 18 knots is like 25? I see!!!! I guess you're a LOT like an idiot.

Oh, so 25% is a "bit" of difference? Oh, okay!!!

Scotty reported 25 knots SUSTAINED. The real report for his area shows 25%
less. He never mentioned currents and the pinhead has no instruments. Some trip
report.

Fatherhood hasn't tempered your aggression.

Are you surprised that some of us don't believe that the little one is
actually your's?

Most of us believe that you have a little one, though! A very little one.

My guess is that he had it removed and has a lot of Rupaul pix in his room.

Nutsy,

OK Salty, to stamp Scotts statement as a serious lie, why don't you
explain the differences in Wind and Sea conditions between 18 and 25
knots.

Just what you'd do to adjust your boat to the difference?

Old Thom
