One book that I particularly enjoyed and recommend is the Larry
McMurty book, "Duane's Depressed". It is the third book in the "Last Picture Show" and "Texasville" storyline. It is a great book for folks, guys especially, who have reached their 40s or so. I am a big fan of McMurtry, anyway, and I plan to go visit his bookstore in Archer City, Texas next month. Dragonfly: Nasa and the Crisis Aboard Mir by Bryan Burrough He's the author of Barbarians at the Gate, about the RJR Nabisco LBO... also a good book. |
