"Horvath" wrote in message | And I suppose he should have jumped up, yelled, "Time's a wasting!" | and run out of the room like a coked up cowboy out to shoot up the | town? Odd that this would be your first thoughts on a course of action ? Oh Wait... it's Bush we are talking about.. how fitting! Would excusing yourself to the next generation of supposedly responsible American Citizens and attending to affairs of state in a National Emergency not enter your limited synaptic firing sequence? Panache would have maybe entailed a promise to finish the story once the situation was rectified! It's no wonder they don't let the idiot savant stray far from the cattle prods of his handlers. Handlers bought, paid and planted by the corporations that own him. Some people have made the error of calling you an Idiot Horvath.... the ones who know you understand that is not possible..... the depth of your abysmal stupidity knows no depth and as such all adjectives fall short of their mark. We also know you'll undertake the last paragraph as a compliment...... CM |

I would wait a respectable amout of time before excusing myself. Oh, wait, isn't that exactly what he did? I heard that Lurch, I mean, Kerry did nothing for 40 minutes. He ran from the Capital Building like a coward, and looked for a hiding place. He was probably looking for Pugsley and Wednesday. Pathetic Earthlings! No one can save you now! |

"Capt. Mooron" wrote in message "Maxprop" wrote in message | Your answer, while logical, was still conceptual. I'm still waiting for a | bona fide reason for bailing on the kiddies. Yeah, the kids would have | understood, but for many of them having the Prez read to them was something | they'll remember all their lives. Logical.. Yes.... Conceptual... not in the remotest meaning of the word. Of course it is. Neither you nor anyone else have told me what Bush was to have done with that 7 minutes, beyond a lot of hand-wringing. Look Max... if you are the President and get told that a terrorist strike has occurred on mainland USA in a major metropolis! Do you really think that the first order priority would be to finish reading a children's book for the kids??!! I've already admitted that I'd have excused myself and left immediately. But that's me. I'm not the prez. That is way beyond incompetence..... that's total idiocy. Maybe 7 minutes didn't matter this time... it might next time.... the fact of the matter is he did not act on his immediate responsibilites... and that's the crux of it. He showed complacency then over-reacted. This is no leader... he is a puppet and has proven incapable of thinking for himself. This is truly flogging a very dead horse. This issue is so inconsequential, and so demonstrative of the fact that Bush's enemies really have very little to do but split hairts. He is viewed globally as a simpleton and ridiculed for it. How blind can his acolytes be??? What are you talking about? He's viewed as a simpleton here, too. :-) It's simple... he was put in power by business So has virtually every president in history. Business money is the BIG money. What you and I give doesn't feed the volunteers at the local party headquarters. [Bin Laden money as well] ...and now dances to their flute. First off, you'd better do some investigation w/r/t the bin Laden family. They, as a group, condem the actions of their rogue brother. They are embarrassed by him. And their business has been irreparably injured by their familial link with him. Only one of his sisters is sympathetic to him, and has sent him money. And I doubt if she'd be willing to donate money to ANY US presidential candidate. Secondly, most corporate sponsors, which may or may not have included the bin Laden family, give nearly equal amounts of money to both party's candidates. Microsoft does it. So does IBM and most of big oil. The list is endless. Max |

"Maxprop" wrote in message Max... it's not in effect the time frame of the 7 minutes..... that I agree is inconsequential... it's what's spoken loudly within those seven minutes that is the issue. Count off 7 minutes on your watch while understanding you've just been notified the country you govern has been attacked..... now do it reading a children's book. What would be going through your brain during that time? If you had a brain.... which is the point of this whole discussion..... that Bush has none with correctly functioning synaptic firing sequences and that your country is run by a semi literate idiot without a clue of how to behave unless directed. Winston Churchill, when notified of the beginning of an attack by German buzz bombs, told his aide that he was going to finish his cigar before going to the bomb shelter. He did this repeatedly, ostensibly because smoking was disallowed in the shelters. So can we presume that Churchill's brain was malfunctioning as well, and that he, too, was a semi-literate idiot? I saw it on the news live and thought it was an accident until the second plane hit. Mooron expects our president to jump to his feet in a fit of rage and race out of the room filled with kindergarden kids. Yeah, it's way more important to listen to a reading of
My Pet Goat than actually consider what to do... perhaps offer some Fed help, reassure the nation, give the mayor a call. to the group and ganz in particular:
i've sat here patiently and earnstly trying to hear different sides of the political debate and at times i have been tugged a bit to go left or right. and frankly i am still undecided and then i have come to a few conclusions ganz your a smuck. finally in the end: what difference do your "politics" make? face it: your a political idiot. and while you sit at a distance and view this problem of the WTC as an abstract problem in "paradise": i've got news for you: some of us lived thru it and continue to. how many military personnel with automatic weapons do you have on the streets of california these days protecting your instututions? perhaps you don't give a crap about any of that and just think life is AOK as long as you can sail your boat. you sit there 3000 miles away and "profess" to understand what has happened and what is right, what is wrong, what is lie and what is truth you ain't got a clue baby boy. did you ever see the glass wall of an office building implode and see anybody impaled by glass against a wall? did you see the people jumping out of the towers? did you see the towers fall? did you ever smell the burning remains of your neighbors for weeks on end? did you have the dust in your hair and lungs? did you watch the pit being emptied of construction and human remains? did you have jet fighters flying over your house at 3:00 am? do you get stopped on the street randomly just because? did you ever walk over the rubble of the world trade center did you have to wonder where your family was at that moment and if they would be ok? while i am close to disdain regarding you and your view: i'll offer something better come to New York and i'll give you an up close and personal view of what some of us think about what has happened but i do hope you take me up on it. i'll even take you sailing on a real boat. until then: just shut the f#$k up. opinions are like a-holes: everyone's got one. gf. Fishboy,
Bull****, or should I say Bu****. You've never indicated the least interest in listening to facts. In fact, you're obviously a right-wing wacko. If you can't site facts, you resort to nam-calling, which makes you just as much a smuck and a political idiot. Do you want to rephrase your question... my politics makes just as much a difference as anyone elses. You think you're some kind of authority on the WTC and this somehow makes you an authority on politics. Talk about being an idiot! I have no interest in your "tour" of NY. Sounds to me like you have nothing to contribute to sailing, nothing to contribute to politics, and nothing to do but beat your meat in public. Go away.
