Default Seamanship Question #11

What is the procedure for sailing backwards off a
mooring. [2 pts]

Assume you have just slipped your mooring, there is no
current, and you have to sail backwards several boatlengths
to clear a crowded raft up. [Hint: There are two key facts
required to do this successfully]
