Crystal, then I'd be ashamed to be an American. But it's not
it's only a disease called liberal extremism.

In the current state of affairs, I'm ashamed to be an American.
The conservatives are proud because they're unthinking and
unfeeling. Bu**** has already sold out American. I don't think
there's much Kerry can do until he's elected.

Currently, yes. We have an asshole and liar in the White House. He's
tarnished our image around the world. After 9/11, people had mostly
empathy and sympathy, now they hate us. He's abrogating our Civil
Rights at home. He needs to get out of town on a permanent basis.

Actually, it's none of your business. Patriotism isn't about service. It's
about believing and supporting the US Constitution and the values
that it espouses. Just because one does or doesn't serve in the military
isn't good enough to be patriotic. Just because one serves the community,
isn't enough to be considered patriotic. It's easy to claim that... "I was
in the military, therefore, I'm patriotic." That's a load of crap.

Calling someone unamerican is most definitely not patriotic, as it goes
against everything that we hold as values.

I don't have to prove my patriotism, and I don't ask anyone else to
either.
