I have a full set of Raytheon instruments.
Wind, tridata, depth, knotmeter, compass (yes, the fluxgate compass
sensor), countdown timer, and more. It even tells me the water
temperature in fahrenheit and celsius. The compass reads in true or
magnetic. The wind instruments read in true or apparent.

Standard stuff. The Raytheon instruments won't tell you:

• Magnetic Wind Direction
• Opposite Tack/Jibe Calculations
• Heel Angle
Bearing
Distance
Heel Angle
Heading
Opposite Heading
Predicted Speed
Smart Speed
Steer Angle
Target Boat Speed
True Wind Direction
Velocity Made Good
• Estimated Time of Arrival
• Cross Tack Error
• Mag Bearing Waypoint to
• Waypoint
• Drift
• Battery Voltage
• Magnetic Course Over Ground
• Speed Over Ground
• Derived Magnetic Variation
• Fix Time
Heading
Battery Voltage
Time to Waypoint
vmg
Cross Track Error
True Course Over Water
Magnetic Course Over Water
Waypoint Latitude
Waypoint Longitude
True Bearing
Magnetic Bearing
Range
Date
True Bearing Wpt-to-Wpt
Magnetic Bearing Wpt-to-Wpt

The computer/GPS instruments tell me most of this. Even PHRF ratings
of other boats.
