Default motoring vs. sailing

I used 425 gallons this year, 99% was motor sailing. I top off twice
to 3 times a year somewhere around 1000 gallons a year.


Well, unlike Scotty Potty you at least honest. I wonder how much Spirt burns on
his ferry trips.

Good gravy...we only use 600 gallons wrth to heat our 2400 sq ft
house....per year....with bitter cold weather....Sure takes a lot of diesel
to warm up that steel boat!

More is used to cool it down than to warm it up. Gotta keep the
generator running to keep the AC's a blowin. How many MPG does your
house get?

586 million miles/8640/600=mpg my house gets.....
