I don't have any objection to hanging criminals even though I'm
basically opposed to the death penalty. I mean it's just not a big
deal for me either way. However, first they need to be charged,
then tried, then convicted. At the moment, they're being detained
without having access to attorneys or due process. This has happened
not just to people from other countries... Afganies, Iraqies, Australians,
Brits, but to US citizens, and not just Padea.. they also snatched an
attorney in Washington (or Oregon?) and finally released him after
a lengthy detention. This is not right. It's not American. This is very
warped.

IMO GW is finishing what his father should of done in the first
place.
Saddam was a scumbag and no country should have to live under the fear
he subjected the Iraqi's to. Plus we all know that Saddam supported
terrorist and produced and hid WMD. Every member of the UN signed res
1441 that stated if he did not prove to the world he had no WMD he
would suffer serious conquences. He snubbed his nose at the USA and
the world for 10+ years and got exactly what he deserved, Its just a
damn shame the Iraqi people could not overthrow him without our help.
Just like it was a damn shame England, France, Poland and another half
dozen countrys could not get rid of Hitler without Americas help.

Just think what the world would be like now if Americans were not
willing to help rid the world of evil leaders. Donal would be speaking
German and Saddam would still be chopping of body parts, raping women
in front of thier husbands gassing the Kurds, invading Kuwait, and
shooting at our planes. Hawaii would be part of the empire of Japan
and the russians would be the only Superpower going.

So?..... lots of folks speak German and the Japanese hold a major part of
