![]() "Bob Crantz" wrote in message WHY DOES MY CETOL TURN ORANGE!???!!! It has orange pigments, naturally. The mfr. chose that color to most closely approximate the color of clean unstained teak. Cetol Marine Light has less such pigment, and some other preparations have no apparent pigments, such as West Marine's Woodpro and Epifanes' Gloss and Matte Wood Finish. The Epifanes products require no sanding between coats and are compatible with varnish, so you can sand old varnish in good condition and put 'em right over. Max |
