Don't stand up and fight for anything you have, just hand it over to

a
pack of thiefs.

Clowns like Joe really make me laugh. I used to throw blowhards like

him
out of
bars every night. He's so full of hot air and crap, he could float

away
on a
**** bubble!

I assure you I have the proper rifles to stop most boats dead in
there tracks and Im an expert marksmans. Wanna see pictures? I assure
you any vessel that vectors on me in the open ocean will be greated
with a shot across the bow unless we have talked on the radio. If they
continue in a threating way I will put a clip (30 rounds) into the
wheelhouse in 10 seconds. No one will raid my boat, unless they do it
over my dead body. And I aint kiddin or blowing hot air.

Joe

Bwahahahahaha!

Of course not. But, having guns tend to promote their use. It's
better to avoid the confrontation. Most of the time you'd be
out gunned anyway.

The report doesn't say how the pirates were armed, I assume they were.

As for "trying to fight with guns," what are you trying to say? That any
attempt to resist the piracy would be futile? What if the pirates had
decided to cut their throats, or just drop them overboard? Leaves no
witnesses... they'd be just as dead. I do not advocate carrying firearms
but it is not necessarily the wisest course to trust the good intentions
of criminals.

What is disturbing to me about this incident is that it's in well
travelled waters where any cruisers going through the Panama Canal would
find themselves.

There's nothing anyone on a small boat can do against a 50 cal (or
even a 30 cal) machine gun.

You could shoot the person firing the 50 cal.
