"Remco Moedt" wrote in message ... Exactly, the only thing what matters is what Jim thinks about his boat. But I don't think that's the point. The point is that he justifies his purchase with wrong assumptions I once purchased a boat with wrong assumptions. I had a very steep learning curve on the first few outings. I very quickly learned that the boat would not do the things that I had planned before I took delivery. However, I kept the boat for 10 years and I had a great time in her. I agree that Jim's purchase is based on inaccurate assumptions. I also think that he will learn the capabilities of his new boat very quickly. So he won't take it out to sea, but he will still have a great time in it. Regards Donal -- |
