Florida does not publish the
actual amount of shark attacks due to scaring off the tourists....I have stepped on a shark...I didn't know I could run that fast... First off, Florida doesn't have to--the news does it for them. Secondly, unprovoked shark attacks are very rare throughout the entire US, so they're even more rare in FL. Finally, all I'm saying is that you have a whole lot better chance of drowning than being bit by a shark. Actually a significant number of the world wide reported shark attacks are in
Florida. Almost all of the US attacks are in FL. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0128075321.htm Its still more common to drown, or die from a bee sting. "Veridican" wrote in message ... At least your family can bury all of you if you die
from a bee sting. Being eaten alive is a horror. "Jeff Morris" wrote Actually a significant number of the world wide reported shark attacks are in Florida. Being eaten alive would be much worse....you would hopefully bleed out quickly and lapse into unconsciousness before it got too bad... -- katysails s/v Chanteuse Kirie Elite 32 http://katysails.tripod.com "Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." - Robert A.
