Yep, that pintle does sometimes loosen. Did you drop the rudder out and renew the bush? Heh heh, the rudder kinda falls out when the pintle is removed. There doesn't seem to be much meat for the bolts to grip in the skeg so it's no wonder they loosen. I don't know about the bushing, I got snagged to hold the rudder and pintle in place while someone put the new bolts in. Seahag |
