I like that challenge.. living at 22 degrees North Latitude
the rivers and lakes in the area are frozen solid.. except for a small pond that has an abundant supply of organic material.. hence not frozen. On 1 April 2004.. a famous Ottawa retiree.. Willie Watt.. launched his homemade plywood sailboat and sailed for several hours in a brisk breeze. And he repeated the fun and games on the water on 4 April. Best regards... John W. Bienko... aboard Blue Eyes...C&C 27 Mark III at the Britannia Yacht Club.. envying your long sailing season and the access to extended voyaging. -- Longing to be closer to to the sun, the wind and the sea! Spiritually at: Latitude 21 degrees 19' 9" North. _!_ Longtitude 157 degrees 56' 31" West. Aloha! ___o_(_)_o___ q |

I can guess how jumpy, twitchy and close to the edge you must be, after all the effort you put in as a MacAnonymous member, and after all those years finally defeating the habit...only to have another MacJunkie suddenly spout forth on the newsgroup. These lashings out at those who truly appreciate you are merely cries for help, and we do understand. So we're all supportive, Spotty, and we're all here to help you resist the siren call that Jim-the-Deafer has sounded. We know that what is cacaphony to our ears is still, at heart, music to yours. But be _strong_! Hang in there! Just keep your chequebook under lock and key and remember...even just one Mac is too many! -- Flying Tadpole ------------------------- Learn what lies below the waves of cyberspace! http://www.internetopera.netfirms.com |
