Who will be in the water first?
What will that cost?
Wouldn't it be more exciting to sail it down. Bart "katysails" wrote Bart asked: What exciting things are the rest of you doing this spring? Waiting to see if we'll be shipping Chanteuse to Fort Myers, Fl in June. |

What does the Sonata look like? I couldn't find any picture of it.

I could have been in yesterday, but couldn't
find any crew! It takes three people to push the trailer to the hoist. Towing it over wasn't an option because there are rows of masts in the way and it's a very tight fit followed by a ramp. The weather was perfect 15-20 knots and 60 degree. I had everything rigged and ready, registration current, sails, lifejackets, and safety gear loaded --but no crew. I wish I was back in San Francisco --I never had trouble finding crew there. The water is very cold 42 degrees. I wonder how long an average person would last in in the water. 30 to 40 minutes? I got some sanding and fairing done on the big boat in the morning--good weather for that too. The wind blew the dust away nicely. "Scott Vernon" wrote Could have been in , Yesterday, as I was waxing the hull, they came by with the crane and asked if I was ready. I said no, only finished waxing at 1400. Got to go to Boston today, maybe when I return she'll be in Scotty |

Points to you John. Best reply so far.
I turned down two deliveries to focus on working on my big boat. I really wanted to do both of them but decided to set a serious goal of getting the big one in the water by Memorial Day. So it will be a boring spring for me. Have fun and take lots of pictures. Bart "John Cairns" wrote "N1EE" wrote in message om... What exciting things are the rest of you doing this spring? It did kill fish when they first built it. How do I know how old you are? You mentioned a nuclear power plant, and the one that is now there doesn't kill any fish. So how was it, heating your teepee with wood and dried horse dung? Screw the rules! They're more like guidelines, anyways. |

Katy, you need to listen to Horass. He's got valuable
information to share about dried horse dung. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Horvath" wrote in message ... Somewhere between 2k-3k... Wouldn't it be more exciting to sail it down. Yes, but there's a large time constraint seeing as how Mr Sails will be living aboard while I sell the house up here....need it down there pronto.... Buzi asked:
How do I know how old you are? I repeatedly talk about my grown-up ids and make references about my grandchildren...isn't rocket science to figure it out. I will be 52 soon....as will someone else of prominence on the ng, but I won't mention any names.... -- katysails s/v Chanteuse Kirie Elite 32 http://katysails.tripod.com "Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." - Robert A.
