What class? These little noisemakers aren't much for accuracy anyway.
It's not uncommon for them to throw ten degrees off their sights... 6
meters? Shucks, sometimes you can't hit anything further out than arm's
reach! But it's still better than waving a knife.

At one point I had a couple of special caliber single shot pistols that
could pop a small target (say, beer can sized) from 200 yards. Not what
you need for home defense though

Good? Sorry Oz but I'd quit if I couldn't put 5 of 6 on a torso sized
target at 50 yards with most any S&W and I'm not "good". My buddy (mate to
you) practically crys if he throws one in 5 out of the 10 ring at 50 yds and
my daddy used to carry a 4" S&W to shoot running rabbits outside of shotgun
range. Are y'all sure you're holding the gun right? Maybe bad ammo?
Flinching?

I own several in different bbl lengths. My favorite day-to-day carry piece
has a 2" bbl and covered hammer. All shoot tight groups, a couple inches at
25 yds, if you do your part but as you say not necessarily where the sights
are pointed. One must know the gun and how much "Kentucky Windage" to apply.
I shot a 47 - 2X at 25 yds with the above pocket pistol when my fancy new
custom 45ACP quit mid match! Luck? Sure, on my part (c:

Mine is way more accurate than that. And, I put in the max load,
which is hard on the pistol, but I only have to pull the trigger 6
times anyway... well, unless I have to reload. It's used purely
for "home defense."
