I noticed some GNU programs related to weather that might help you. I am
not certain if you can get exactly what you want, but here's the link: http://www.gnu.org/directory/science/ Let me know if you find anything useful. "Wally" wrote in message ... I'm looking for numeric data describing current and forecast wind speed and direction over the oceans? I'm looking for something that can be parsed with software - like an ascii or documented binary format. I'm particularly interested in forecasts for several points during the day, especially if they're updated frequently. I've been searching, but so far, I seem to be finding graphical image data (no use) or numeric data which is daily at best (often up to monthly). Could anyone suggest some sources? -- Wally www.artbywally.com www.wally.myby.co.uk/music |
