Two new programs are available from Conning Power Software at

cpRepeater uses a Windows PC to provide a navigation instrument
repeater display. It accepts incoming NMEA0183 data from multiple
comm ports or the network, multiplexes the data internally, and
displays it on up to 15 "virtual" instruments. Data can be saved in a
Captain's log and exported for performance analysis. NMEA sentences
can then be forwarded to other programs, instruments, or an autopilot
through comm ports or the network. Multiple copies of cpRepeater can
share data on 1 or more computers. cpRepeater integrates with
OziExplorer and can exchange position and waypoint data directly with
it. cpRepeater is architected to use your display and computer
resources as efficiently as possible.

cpRepeater is fully-functional shareware. A demo mode is included so
the program can be evaluated without hooking it up to a functioning
NMEA network. As an introductory offer, a 21% discount will be
applied to the price if cpRepeater is licensed in 2003.

Now, the free stuff! cpOnWatch is a Windows implementation of a
watchtimer. It reminds you to check the horizon at intervals using
multimedia alarms. More of a fun computer toy than a serious cruising
tool. cpOnWatch is freeware.
