Last year I removed the bottom paint (ablative) from the Seidelmann, after scraping the big chunks, I sanded using a good orbital with a hose attached to a big shop vac. Very little dust. Wear a good respirator. Make sure you start and stop the sander while it's pressed flat on the bottom so you don't get gouge marks. My boss reccommends Pettit Trinidad or Woolsey Neptune for Florida bottoms, by the way:^) Seahag |
