Yes Kate, do some reading, like Interlux's recommendation to always remove
VC17
when changing paint:

Any knowledgable person will tell you that any paint can be applied over a
vinyl but a vinyl cannot be put over anything other than vinyl. Interlux like
every paint manufacture is just trying to cover their ass against complaining
people. I put Awlgrip Allstar over Baltoplate on my boat with absolutely no
problems.

Heck, checking that chart only confirms what I said. It says to lightly sand
and apply.

apply"

read again, loco. There is a dark blue dot on the VC17m column, meaning "Remove
All Paint"

Perhaps the paint Kate has on is not VC17m, but if it is, Interlux is saying to
remove it.
