I'm convinced. I don't through anything away anymore without checking
ebay first. I bought a new computer on ebay and found that there was a
big market for old software. Bingo.

I'm cleaning out my basement by putting stuff on ebay. Your right there is a
buyer for everything and the best part about ebay is those buyers bid stuff up
to what you could walk into a store and buy it new for.

Shouldent you be focusing on your directing career?
Seems like that would be much better money.

And if your in between shooting feature films,
shouldent you be networking with stars?

You bought into all that? LOL.........

There's a buyer for anything.

Are you sure? I tried selling myself on the street corner and had no
takers. Should I try again?

Yeah, I agree. I've been having the theme song from a Japanese anime
named "Noir" running through my head since I saw the first episode
Sunday at my nephew's.
LOL, it's about two female contract killers. It's dark and moody but
very well written and interesting. Tricky story line so far. )

But do you have a cable? I just need a cable.

I honestly can't tell you at the moment. I'm digging through rooms of stuff.
There may be a cable. I'll let you know.

I have followed auctions of items that I have already bought retail at
on line marine stores and am amazed at how few people do their
homework. Many, many times the item goes for more than I paid for it.
I guess its the" Auction Curse". The "winner" pays the highest price.

I'll have my ''buyers'' look for one when they go ''shopping'' tonight.

If you come across a Raytheon R-10 Radar cable and put it on line, I
will start the bidding.

Well, the next best thing to a successful writing/directing carreer is
a stint on e-bay.

I can't wait, I'll be buying Defender this year and next year I'll put West
Marine out of business. Why hell I may even buy ebay.

Good luck! We have sold several 1000 items on ebay. Only 2 neg
feedbacks.
I like to buy marine stuff on ebay as well. Got a nice ritchie
compass, and sails for the dink, line, sunbrella ect.. Why pay full
price if you can get it on ebay?

What are you charging to sell other peoples stuff? 50%

I would not go thru the hassle for less, and it would be great if you
could get them to ship it, and not get bad shipping feedback. Thats
what I hate the shipping hassle. Do you use the free priorty shipping
supplies from the post office? The free tape is great, has 100's of
boat uses BTW.

Your new venture is going to consume mucho time.

Ebay is great money, but lots of work unless you find that magic
product that will direct ship and you double your money for the
efforts. Just sit back and hit the re-list button.

BTW this is off topic.

I've gotten a few deals on Ebay. Sometimes the seller puts the item in the
wrong area or sets his auction to end at a dumb time. I got a mainsheet
assembly for 18 bucks, a Davis Mk15 Sextant for 55, a New Sony 7600GR for 64
bucks!
And so on. Part of the trick is to not get frustrated and keep looking. If you
don't have fun you'll probably never find a deal.
