It won't change the fact that you're a liar.

According to ebay you've only sold about a dozen items with most under a
hundred bucks.

Poor loco! You didn't expect me to have pics of the RL9 and 600XX. I know.

It
hurts. I'm also selling a second RL9 package shortly. Also: I have new Ray
1621's NIB (already sold two). I'm not selling just on Ebay. For instance,

I
have a Garmin 1020C NIB, which I sold in one day for 1400. That's a pretty

hard
deal to beat.
Like I said, call me a liar or any other names you like. Won't change the
facts. Slip, club fees, bottom painting...3100.00, and it was all paid for

by
selling a single package of stuff. The C-maps alone brought nearly 2.5K. I
know...it's KILLING you, but it's no troll. Keep an eye on the auctions

and
see.
Sorry.

Well, looks like you're a bit naive when it comes to ebay.

Ebay charges a fee when you place a for sale ad based on
the initial bid and then recalculates based on the sale price.
There are lots and lots of people trying to rip sellers off.

Looks like you're not only a liar, but stupid.

Bubbles appears to be working a clearance centre type arrangement and
the great part is that you usually flog all the stuff on consignment
so there is no outlay in stock.
I'd congratulate him on his resourcefulness

Thanks, Ozzy. You hit the nail on the head. It's costing me nothing. The

cost
of the auctions are my only hit and even that's split. I also don't do all

of
the shipping; only the stuff that can be easily handled. The big windlass

will
be shipped out by the yard for example. I'll even be selling outdrives and
outboards, but I won't be shipping those! As it stands, my yard bills are

paid
and there's more money to be made now that I've started selling the stuff

on
ebay.

Don't have the time Bud. I just checked your history to see what a fraud you
are.

Some of the stuff I'm selling in pretty old, but still useful to someone.

Just like everything on your boat.

There's a buyer for anything. I just sold an Edson Pedestal guard top
Plate(brand new) to a fellow from (get this) Dodge City Kansas. He is
a non sailor, but hopes to retire to the Phillipenes someday and build
a boat. It seems, he is buying out the boat on ebay, item by item as
they come up. I can't figure it though, he didn't buy the guard
itself which I had listed seperately, but in the same time frame. Go
figure.

The most rediculous thing I ever sold was a 15" X 3/32nd" wire pennent
that secured the jib to the deck on my old boat. An assembly of two
eyes, two nicopress fittings, and 20" of wire that cost me $7.00 to
make up 10 years ago, and would cost $10.00 today. The fellow paid
$13.00 incl. shipping.

I'm convinced. I don't through anything away anymore without checking
ebay first. I bought a new computer on ebay and found that there was a
big market for old software. Bingo.

I bought a Davis Mk15 Sextant for 55 dollars on Ebay, then sold it on ebay for
111.00, which is more than what it cost new!
As you said, there's a buyer for everything.

Man, I hate having a song stuck in my head...and now everytime I read
one of these posts, the theme music from Sanford & Son just won't go
away Good luck with your auctions.

I can't wait, I'll be buying Defender this year and next year I'll put West
Marine out of business. Why hell I may even buy ebay.

Good luck! We have sold several 1000 items on ebay. Only 2 neg
feedbacks.
I like to buy marine stuff on ebay as well. Got a nice ritchie
compass, and sails for the dink, line, sunbrella ect.. Why pay full
price if you can get it on ebay?

What are you charging to sell other peoples stuff? 50%

I would not go thru the hassle for less, and it would be great if you
could get them to ship it, and not get bad shipping feedback. Thats
what I hate the shipping hassle. Do you use the free priorty shipping
supplies from the post office? The free tape is great, has 100's of
boat uses BTW.

Shouldent you be focusing on your directing career?
Seems like that would be much better money.
Your new venture is going to consume mucho time.

And if your in between shooting feature films,
shouldent you be networking with stars?

Ebay is great money, but lots of work unless you find that magic
product that will direct ship and you double your money for the
efforts. Just sit back and hit the re-list button.

BTW this is off topic.

If you come across a Raytheon R-10 Radar cable and put it on line, I
will start the bidding.

I have an Raytheon R-10 display. It powers up. Going up for auction this week.
Looks fine.
