That's because he gets out of control so quickly, does something
really stupid, and gets tossed off. Then, he has go begging to get
reinstated.

Sorry, I can't be involved with the "wars" here anymore. I was always

the
winner anyway. But if anyone wants to talk sailing I'm all for it.

The only wars around here were the ones you started. What a pansy!! You
prove time and time again you can dish it out but can't take it when it's
returned to you. Like a spoiled brat kicking a playmate and immediate
running home to mama screaming and bawling afraid your victim will strike
back.

Given your history, I think there's a better than even chance that if you're
not actually lying about the upcoming auctions, you're lying about whether
or not the items are stolen.

This is a joint venture by myself and 4 local yards. I have literally

thousands
of boating items (new and used) to sell and have only started. It started

out
as a favor and now is making a surprising profit for me. Most yards have
hundreds of discarded or unsold items lying around, so I contacted them

and
struck a deal. With the sale of a single electronics package, I paid for

my
slip and bottom painting. Not a bad deal.
Anyone needing any gear should keep a lookout at my auctions. There will

be
thousands of items listed over the coming months...some old and some

recent.
None are "stolen" and buyers are free to check as all serial numbers are
intact. The best part of all of this is that it's FUN and easy and cost

nothing
to start. Intitially I sold stuff within the clubs, but there's far, far

too
much now. Watch and see. How about brand new old stock Raytheon radar

packages
for half price? Nav lighting? Lorans? GPS? VHF? Winches? I even have sails

and
rigging, some new.
Sorry, I can't be involved with the "wars" here anymore. I was always the
winner anyway. But if anyone wants to talk sailing I'm all for it.

Man, I hate having a song stuck in my head...and now everytime I read
one of these posts, the theme music from Sanford & Son just won't go
away Good luck with your auctions.

LOL!!! My wife said the same thing. She said I'm like the nautical version of
Fred Sanford now. Still, she's happy we have no yard bills for the new season.
The auctions are going GREAT and I just started. It's a lot of fun as well.

Has anyone called the police yet? Give it time, give it time.

GOOD LUCK NUTSY!!!

Great idea and a good way to mess around boat!! Keep it honest and you
should be able to cut into the "Defender" market.

I'll Drink to That!"

As long as he reports the income, can actually attest to the items not
being stolen, is willing to pay the upfront ebay fees, deal with the
shipping
hassles (oh and deal with the ripoff artists on ebay and the ones who show
up at his door), and the weirdos who leave bad feedback or scream at you
even if everything goes perfectly, then he'll do fine.

"Honest" is the only way to go on ebay. So far so good. Bidding is really going
nicely.

I can't wait, I'll be buying Defender this year and next year I'll put West
Marine out of business. Why hell I may even buy ebay.
