Interesting junk mail
http://www.pinnacleyachts.com/
Inexpensive, oversized postcard. "Leaseshare A Magnificent New 2004 Jeanneau 37 Foot Yacht Near Detroit" "Sail the Entire Season for the All-Inclusive Price of $4,350" On the back, it explains that the "season" consists of "22 day and evening" sails on Lake St. Clair. They must be having some success in Chicago, they claim to have been in business for 7 years. The website shows a fleet of older(pre-2004) boats, I wonder if anyone in these parts will take the bait? I called the 800 #, and as I suspected, the "22 days and evenings" are just that, you can't have the boat for more than a day at a time, which probably helps the real owners enormously on insurance costs. It does sound like something that might appeal to a business owner, you could possibly write off the cost of the lease as an expense. John Cairns |

Interesting junk mail
Why not 22 days consecutively? If
someone wanted to day sail then they would rent a day sailor! It sounds like a very good deal for the owners. One lease-share would pay the slip expenses for the year. Interesting junk mail
22 days consecutively would mean that you would be able to sail the thing
out of Lake St. Clair. Which would probably mean higher insurance premiums for the owner. This sounds like something that might interest someone that was in a position to write off the cost as a business expense, I really can't imagine anyone else being interested. Actually, one lease share would pay the slip, fuel, insurance and cleaning and leave a couple k left over. John Cairns "N1EE" wrote in message om... Why not 22 days consecutively?
