December was our first visit to NC, Oriental specifically, where we bought some property on the Neuse just outside of town. New Bern, eh? Fascinating town. Capt. Ratty's is a favorite--had the best mussels I've ever eaten there. The server was amused by Midwesterners raving about seafood which is as common as dirt there. Max |
