Default Night vision scope

I need some advise on purchasing a night vision scope (1st generation).
Possible candidates a
- Newcon MB-3
- Rigel 1100
- ATN Night Leopard
- ATN Night Storm

Can anybody, preferably from own experiences with one or more of these
scopes, advise me on wich one to buy regarding the quality of the image?
Advise about other scopes, reviews, etc. are also welcome!

Thanks in advance,

Kind regards,

I've tried the Newcon and I bought a Night Owl. I saw very little difference in
the units $300.00 and under. The night owl was reccomended to be because it's
weather resistant, has reasonable glass optics and has excellent service if
there's a problem. I also looked through a Bushnell that cost 99.00 and it
provided pretty much the same level of image. The Night Owl I got as a gift was
only 169.00. They make a waterproof version, but the fellow at B&H thought it
wasn't very waterproof. I also mine because it uses two double A batteries.

Good luck,

RB
