whereas a couple or three years ago there were
forty of fifty regulars now there is fewer than
a dozen.

Who me? I have done more to build up this group than
anyone. In the halcyon Capt. Neal days this group was
the place to be. It had hundreds of active subscribers
and thousands of lurkers. But, Capt. Neal didn't have
the time or the energy to keep it up year after year.

Cruising is more important to him than posting to
a newsgroup and keeping it on track and interesting.

It's odd that nobody had the ability or skill to take over
and act as a positive force. Instead all that emerged
was a bunch of losers boring people to tears.
