It's not for storing the items on board, but in between sails so they can be kept dry and safe and transported easily. I take care of my electronics! Since you don't bother taking the cover off your compass or the cover off your mainsail so you don't wear either of them out, why bother lugging your little toy box full of lamer instruments around. All you're gonna do with it anyway is prop it up on the kitchen table and take pictures of it. You're not impressing anybody. You're just becoming more of a laughing stock. S.Simon |
