Tad,

Let's think of Nutsy's Soul, with the shoal draft keel as being used in
shallow, muddy waters with a life having trouble holding a true course
because of unwanted leeway. Wandering thru life needing constant
correction after correction.

Let's hope his coming year will bring him into clearer seas, with a more
favorable wind to let him set a better, more decent course in his life.

I liked the analogy!!

Hope you have a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND A WONDERFUL COMING YEAR!!"
Nutsy

"I'll Drink to That!!"

Ole Thom

P/S No I don't maintain a page for pictures of my Boat. I can send you a
picture of it. What would you like to see?

Now _that's_ an appropriate analogy. ANd all we need do, to
save Bobsprit's soul, is to get him better at the helm, capable
of knowing his course, and unafraid to use his centreboard as a
depth-sounder.

Downhaul and reefer?????

I'd guess you're smoking entirely too much reefer.

He he he!

Nice looking boat, though. It doesn't really look like
a motor sailer. It certainly is much nicer than Booby's
cheap looking plastic.

Thanks Simp,

You're right, she doesn't look like a Motorsailer mostly because she
isn't. She is a true Pilothouse Sloop. Even at that, if you look at that
pretty hull below the water line you won't see very many fast cruising
boat any finer or fairer than that.

If you hadn't noticed, that wing on the keel has a slight pitch to
windward when it get heeled. I've surprised a lot of racers with the
upwind ability of that pilothouse sloop.

It also makes 'Pneuma" an easy boat to trim out downwind.

Again I that you for your praise. It is appreciated

We have been socked in by storms for over a week now, so I haven't been
out. I'll get some picture of the interior. That is where I'm the
proudest. I done a bit of customizing down below to make her a good
single hander.

As soon as the weather allows Neal, I'll also get some pictures of the
new main for you. Now that I can send photos again

Yeah You only wish you had a true Pilot house moter sailer like
RedCloud.

Do you have to squat to get in your pilot house Thom?
