Because to get the stem cells, you must have a fertilized ovum in the first steps of gestation. The fertilized egg is killed for the sake of another human being.

Yes, I would and I would deny that type of treatment. I work with patients that have Parkisonian type syndromes, Parkinson's disease, and other neural pathway diseases. Neurontin works on some, surgery works on others. Don't need to be killing off embryos to cure others' disease. I also think it is ridiculous to offer oneself up as a guinea pig to oncologists by treating cancer with chemotherapy. I have seen several relatives go through 6 moths of torturous chemo where their lives were miserable only to prolong their lives for another 6 months after it was all said and done. And then they still died of cancer and it was still unpleasant and they still had to be morphined out of their minds at the end. I have already informed my children that if I should be so unlucky as to develop a cancerous condition I would choose to live with it for as long as it allowed me to live and then I would hope to go gracefully....or zonkered out on morphine.

Why do you think this has anything to do with aborting babies?
It does here in the US. That's where they get the stem cells. They harvest the fetuses from abortion clinics.
