I couldn't troll you so easily unless I had already taken a look from where you are sitting. Bwaaaahahhahahahaaaa! Donal, be my guest :-) "New money" is so unsophisticated! Yeah, and it sticks together in your wallet. The 100's are the worst! Did I tell you about the $50 I got a few weeks ago? Was buying a new air compressor and paying cash, the guy counted thru the notes then pulled out a $50 and said he couldn't accept it. I queried him and he pointed out that it was about 5mm shorter than it should be. Took it back and gave him another to complete the deal. The compressor is a beauty! Anyway, thinking I had a forged note and being the upstanding citizen that I am, Rather than try and pass it off to someone else, I took it down to the bank which after careful scrutiny declared it a "real" note but a defective one. It had been cut slightly short and, the bit that's most interesting, slightly skewed. They offered to replace it but I declined and took it to a numismatologist friend of mine, the guy who sourced the Kruger Rand and Sovereigns. He confirmed my suspicion and confirmed that it was in fact a faulty but legitimate note and worth far more than its $50 face value. He has it at the moment and is fielding offers from collectors.
