I was dragged to a ballet performance a few months ago. Those male dancers
made me think that the saddest words that a man could hear from his son,
would be - "Dad, I want to become a ballet dancer."


But fact is the rigorous training, practice and diet didn't allow much
time to get out and enjoy life IOW the passion had waned after over 30
years of a life devoted to dance.

Oh and Holly....she's now a senior executive in the largest
international company in its field, and dances for fun and to keep
fit.

Hmmm. It seems that female ballet dancers can do very well in a male
dominated environment..... just as the male ballet dancers seem to display
certain female characteristics. Odd?

Well, after my mum got over being ****ed off about losing the first
one, took her a while because it wasn't until my 35th birthday that
she bought me another.
Umm unfortunately it was stolen in a break and enter and its only been
about 10 years so I can't see her coming up with another in the near
future.
