I have to wonder what makes you write something like that.

Did you click the link and read the report in the Post?

Would you say the suicidal captain is normal? It it normal
to run away from a wreck you caused and then slit your
wrists and shoot yourself with a pellet gun?

Would you say it's OK to be a captain while having
such a severe blood pressure problem that passing out
is the result of forgetting to take a pill?

Like I said. The man needed a better physical exam and
he certainly needs psychological help. He was unsuited
to be driving a ferry with so many lives at stake. Perhaps
there might be some good come of this trajedy. Perhaps
the Coast Guard will tighten up their qualifications because
as it stands now too many unqualified captains are falling
through the cracks.
